8/24/2016

Whether you’re going to a party on a bus or are walking across the street, it’s always important to keep aware of your surroundings. You never know when a dangerous driver could be headed your direction or when you could be struck due to distractions that take a driver’s eyes off the road.

While it’s not clear what happened in this case yet, if you have been hurt by another party who is responsible for your injuries due to negligence or distractions, you’re in a position to file a personal injury lawsuit.

In this situation, a party bus in East Boston hit two people. One of the victims was fatally wounded. According to the news from Aug. 21, the crash took place at in the early morning just across the street from the Courtyard Boston-Logan Airport Hotel. It’s been reported that the fatally-wounded victim was a woman. The other person suffered minor injuries and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment. It’s not clear if they were on the bus, getting off the bus or struck by the bus, police have reported.

The vehicle had been rented by a private group for that day, and it’s been said that the company does not provide beverages or food to those riding on it. Guests must bring their own provisions. It’s not been reported how many people were on the bus at the time of the crash, but it could have been up to 40. Police have said that they do not believe the driver had been drinking before the accident took place.
